X-PHY has been selected as a finalist at the 2026 UK Cyber OSPAs, under the Outstanding Overseas Cyber Security Initiative category. This recognition places X-PHY alongside respected organisations and initiatives across the global cyber security ecosystem, and reflects our focus on delivering practical, security-first technology that supports real-world resilience.
The UK Cyber OSPAs – short for Outstanding Security Performance Awards – recognise companies, teams, individuals, products and initiatives across the cyber security sector. The programme is supported by numerous key industry bodies and special interest groups around the world, which nominate judges to represent them, bringing broad, cross-sector perspectives to the judging process. Supporting organisations listed by the awards include the UK Cyber Security Council, TechUK, CREST, The Security Institute, ISACA (Midland Chapter) and FIRST, among others.
The 2026 ceremony will take place on 29 April 2026 at the Birmingham Metropole Hotel.
Why this recognition matters
Cyber threats are accelerating in complexity and scale. At the same time, organisations are facing tighter compliance requirements, increasing pressure on critical infrastructure, and heightened scrutiny on how sensitive data is stored, processed, and protected.
Being selected as a finalist in the Outstanding Overseas Cyber Security Initiative category is meaningful to us for one simple reason: it signals that global industry stakeholders are paying attention to solutions that strengthen security at the foundational layer – where data lives.
Why storage security matters more than ever
Security strategies often focus on software in the networks, endpoints, and identity. But storage is a critical component of the trust chain. If data can be extracted, manipulated or compromised at rest, downstream controls have limited value.
As AI-enabled threats expand – from automated reconnaissance to deepfake-driven social engineering – organisations need confidence that their data remains protected even in hostile environments. Secure storage is no longer a “nice-to-have”; it is part of basic operational resilience.
With that, we are grateful to the UK Cyber OSPAs organisers and judges, and to our customers, partners, and team members who make this work possible.
